Location: Parsons Green, London

Client: Private Home Owner

Landscape Architect: Taylor Tripp

The concept for this project was to create a space that could be enjoyed by the home owner and their guests, in a unique contemporary/rustic style, which would complement the newly refurbished property.

As the garden was a typically small space, the landscape architects devised a plan to create benches that were set into the walls of the planters to maximise the space, giving areas for planting and areas for the client to relax.

Loknan’s oak wall capping and benches provided an extra feature to the rendered planter wall and bench, giving a slightly more rustic and yet modern touch to the garden.

The wall of the garden was the dark brick that is very common in London and so part of the wall was clad in oak weatherboarding provided by Loknan. This lightened up the space and added a contrast to the dark wall that can be seen below it.
